Teaching Young Children is a new magazine created specifically for preschool teachers. Colorful, informative, and easy-to-read, TYC is packed full of teaching ideas, strategies, and tips. When you become a subscriber you will receive a new issue 5 times a year. Teaching Young Children and NEXT: The Teaching Young Children Staff Development Guide are available in both English and Spanish.

Shipping, Payments, Claims and Cancellations

Shipping

Subscriptions are mailed via USPS nonprofit bulk mail within 10-15 business days after receipt of subscription payment at NAEYC.  Shipping charges are included in the subscription cost.

Payment

All subscriptions must be prepaid. Please contact NAEYC customer service at 800- 424 2460, option 6 to request a proforma invoice.

• All payments must be in U.S. funds
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, money orders, or checks (make checks payable to NAEYC)
• If you are paying by check from a bank branch located outside the U.S., add a $10 processing fee for check amounts up to $90, and a $20 fee for amounts over $90

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your subscription to Teaching Young Children, please call our customer service at 800-424-2460, option 6 (M-F 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST)

A $2 cancellation fee per subscription will apply.

Claims

Claims for replacement of damaged items must be made within sixty (60) days of product receipt. Please check your items carefully.

Privacy Policy

NAEYC sometimes rents its mailing list to commercial firms to distribute information regarding early childhood-related products and services. Generated revenues are used to support other NAEYC activities.  Please call our customer service at 800-424-2460 if you wish to be removed from the lists.

What is NEXT?
NEXT—The Teaching Young Children Staff Development Guide comes out 5 times per year to accompany the current issue of TYC. NEXT suggests ways to build on the content of articles while encouraging teachers to apply ideas in their own classrooms. Center directors can use it to plan staff meetings, staff development specialists can use it to design workshops, and teacher educators can use the ideas in their classes.
